The principle was that although we might not be able to change the whole world, we could affect our little corner of it. So one summer we got together a small group of people who mostly just pulled weeds in a garden at church.<\/p>\n
We found doing so was profoundly\u2026 calming. And that let us approach the bigger problems before us in much healthier ways.<\/p>\n
These are anxious times, and they are plenty of people seeking only to make us more anxious still. There are plenty of messages out there\u00a0 sent to inflame our fears. And, truth be told, there is plenty of chatter simply within our own minds telling us we have a lot to worry about.<\/p>\n
I wonder: is there something we can do that might calm us instead?
