in your tender love for the human race you sent your Son our Savior Jesus Christ<\/p>\n

to take upon him our nature,<\/p>\n

and to suffer death upon the cross,<\/p>\n

giving us the example of his great humility:<\/p>\n

Mercifully grant that we may walk in the way of his suffering,<\/p>\n

and also share in his resurrection;<\/p>\n

through Jesus Christ our Lord,<\/p>\n

who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,<\/p>\n

one God, for ever and ever.<\/p>\n
