Luke in some ways leaves it to his readers to imagine what Paul was doing when he sets out a string of activities and travels in Acts 18:<\/p>\n

18:18<\/span>\u00a0Paul, after staying many more days in Corinth, said farewell to the brothers and sailed away to Syria accompanied by Priscilla and Aquila. He had his hair cut off at Cenchrea because he had made a vow.\u00a018:19<\/span>\u00a0When they reached Ephesus, Paul left Priscilla and Aquila behind there, but he himself went into the synagogue and addressed the Jews.\u00a018:20<\/span>\u00a0When they asked him to stay longer, he would not consent,\u00a018:21<\/span>\u00a0but said farewell to them and added, \u201cI will come back to you again if God wills.\u201d Then he set sail from Ephesus,\u00a018:22<\/span>\u00a0and when he arrived at Caesarea, he went up and greeted the church at Jerusalem and then went down to Antioch.\u00a018:23<\/span>\u00a0After he spent some time there, Paul left and went through the region of Galatia and Phrygia, strengthening all the disciples.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

We can say, though, that Paul believes in and practices:<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n

Administration of his missional work and<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n
Accountability to Jerusalem and Antioch (Syrian) for what he is doing<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n
Attentiveness to what God is doing missionally<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n
