What are the most influential elements of your local church\u2019s and family\u2019s spiritual formation program for children?<\/b><\/div>\n

There\u2019s much to talk about in this book \u2014 that she focuses on some very solid ideas for us today: story, ritual and relationships.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
She has a good grip on educational theory and the important distinction between formal and information education; she wants us to incorporate the Bible\u2019s story, the Church\u2019s story, and our local community\/church\u2019s story. What I liked most is that she encourages teachers to slow down enough to let children \u2014 in their formative educational experiences \u2014 to \u201cdo\u201d and to \u201cpray\u201d and to \u201cexperience\u201d instead of just hearing about and being informed about such things.<\/div>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
