A few years back a student of mine showed me a tattoo, asked me what I thought, and I informed him that he had some mistakes \u2014 it was in Greek and the student didn\u2019t know Greek. But it was a really cool idea for a tattoo. By the way, I don\u2019t have one.<\/p>\n
So, today I get a letter from a student and I wonder what you would give him for advice:<\/p>\n
How would I go about making sure that I get an accurate Hebrew tattoo of the word \u201cremember\u201d (verb), i.e. \u201czakar\u201d or \u201czkr\u201d? It has intense significance to me and I really want to make sure I get the right meaning down, like the one in Exodus 2.24. I\u2019m considering either just using the un-conjugated verb \u201cremember\u201d or the short phrase, \u201cremember the covenant.\u201d Any suggestions? \ud83d\ude42<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
