Marital Love is Not Your Usual Yada Yada<\/h2>\n

Have you seen these statements when you download something from Google<\/a>? It will say something like: \u201cPlease read, this is not your usual yada yada.\u201d Yada is the Hebrew word for knowledge, or in the basic verb form \u2013 to know.<\/p>\n

This verb has many meanings in the Old Testament. You can know a thing, a place, a person. You can say you are acquainted with a person, in which you know. You may recognize someone, and that can also be someone you know. But in the Bible, especially in the King James Version, you will also read that for example:<\/p>\n

Now Adam knew Eve his wife, and she conceived and bore Cain, and said, \u201cI have acquired a man from the LORD.\u201d<\/p>\n

(Genesis 4:1 NKJV)<\/p>\n

To know someone intimately is a type of love. The Bible confines this type of intimacy within marriage between a man and a woman. Some people speak about their marriages as if it were the usual \u201cyada yada.\u201d They speak of a marriage that is routine, even boring. But God never intended your life to be the usual \u201cyada yada\u201d.<\/p>\n

God wants your love life to be more than just a casual remark in life. God wants you to love with more emotion, passion, and desire than just a casual approach. Marital love in God\u2019s eyes is not just your usual yada yada.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
