<\/a><\/h1>\nThere Is None Like You\u2026For Me<\/h1>\n

Micah 7:18-20<\/p>\n
There is a praise and worship song from the late twentieth century by Lenny LeBlanc entitled \u201cThere Is None Like You.\u201d<\/em> This section of Micah reminds me of that song. In the song, the writer reflects on the fact that there is no God like God.<\/p>\nNo one can do the things that You do.<\/em><\/p>\nI could search for all eternity long and find,<\/em><\/p>\nThere is none like You.<\/em><\/p>\nIn this section of Micah, I would say that the prophet personalizes the song to \u201cThere is none like You\u2026for me.\u201d<\/p>\n
By that, I mean that God is not just unique. God is unique to me. I am not saying that everyone has their personal God. I am saying that everyone who believes in God can have their own experiences with God. There is none like God\u2026for me.\u201d<\/p>\n
HOW GOD WORKS FOR ME<\/h2>\n
If I take the verses here and personalize them, I can see how God works for me. For example, God removes my iniquity and passes over my judgment. He does not hold on to His anger against me. He delights in faithful love for me.<\/p>\n
\u201cWho is a God like You, removing iniquity and passing over rebellion for the remnant of His inheritance? He does not hold on to His anger forever\u00a0because He delights in faithful love.\u201d (Micah 7:18, HCSB)<\/p>\n
When I sin again today, God will again have compassion on me. He will destroy my sins and iniquities. He will then throw them away. God takes out my \u201csin trash\u201d every day. God as my Heavenly Father does this out of His compassion for me.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe will again have compassion on us; He will vanquish our iniquities. You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea.\u201d (Micah 7:19, HCSB)<\/p>\n
Just as He did for Israel, God will show loyalty to my tribe and faithful love to my ancestors whom He promised by how He treats me.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou will show loyalty to Jacob and faithful love to Abraham, as You swore to our fathers from days long ago.\u201d (Micah 7:20, HCSB)<\/p>\n
God is compassionate. He takes out my \u201csin trash.\u201d He shows His loyalty love to me every day. There is none like God for me.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
