<\/iframe> The Earth Healing Ritual from Gorsedd 2009 <\/span><\/em> I\u2019m headed back to California at the end of the month for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.houseofdanu.com\/\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">House of Danu<\/a>\u2019s second <a href=\"http:\/\/johnfranc.blogspot.com\/2009\/08\/druid-gorsedd.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Druid Gorsedd<\/a>. I considered not going due to finances \u2013 registration is actually a little cheaper this year, but air fare is almost double. Still, this was such a wonderful experience\u2026 I have to go back.<\/p>\nI\u2019m particularly interested in the emphasis on ecstatic ritual. The rituals I compose and lead tend to be deep and introspective. Though I have led a couple of more light-hearted circles, I\u2019ve never tried to create an ecstatic ritual. I think that\u2019s because I don\u2019t like giving up control\u2026<\/p>\nBut this should be a chance to see it done and experience it first-hand \u2013 hopefully I\u2019ll learn a few things I can bring back to our CUUPS group. Plus it\u2019s a chance to meet up with some of the wonderful folks I met last year, and to spend a weekend at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.polmountainretreat.com\/\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Pema Osel Ling<\/a>, one of the most beautiful places I\u2019ve ever been.<\/p>\nAnd after everything that\u2019s gone on (particularly at work) over the last year, I NEED a retreat!<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Earth Healing Ritual from Gorsedd 2009I\u2019m headed back to California at the end of the month for the House of Danu\u2019s second Druid Gorsedd.
