This Sunday, July 11, I\u2019ll be the guest lay speaker at First Jefferson Unitarian Universalist Church in Fort Worth. I\u2019ll be speaking on \u201cThe Hero\u2019s Journey, Part II.\u201d We\u2019re all familiar with the myth of the hero. But what happens when the quest is over, and we try to live happily ever after? This is a slight refreshing of the sermon I gave at DUUF last April.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve been to CUUPS events at First Jefferson, but this will be my first time at a Sunday service there. It\u2019s also the first time I\u2019ve been a guest preacher since my trips to Tyler UU and Longview UU in 2005.<\/p>\n

The service begins at 11:00 AM and everyone is welcome. If you\u2019re in the Fort Worth area, come out and say hello.<\/p>\n
