Fort Worth Star-Telegram<\/em>.<\/p>\nI remember Scottie Johnson\u2019s sermon the Sunday after the incident in Knoxville. She ran off a list of perhaps a dozen acts of violence against churches \u2013 they were all across the religious spectrum. They had nothing in common except their doors were open to anyone who wanted to walk in and hear an encouraging word.<\/p>\n
Let\u2019s all say a prayer for Rev. Fred Winters \u2013 may his god give him peace. And say another prayer for his family and the folks at First Baptist Church of Maryville, Illinois.<\/p>\n
