\u2013 the idea of bringing jobs back to this country. I amen this:\u00a0It\u2019s time to stop rewarding businesses that\u00a0ship jobs overseas, and start rewarding companies that create jobs\u00a0right here in America. <\/em><\/p>\n -fixing the tax structure, something I think Obama should have done before he put all that energy into the national health care. \u00a0Seems to me if you fix the tax structure, you\u2019d have the money you need to implement a better health care plan. \u00a0All for this:\u00a0From now on,every multinational company should have to pay a basic minimum tax.\u00a0And every penny should go towards lowering taxes for companies that\u00a0choose to stay here and hire here.\u00a0Third, if you\u2019re an American manufacturer, you should get a bigger tax\u00a0cut. If you\u2019re a high-tech manufacturer, we should double the tax deduction you get for making products here.<\/em><\/p>\n \u2013<\/em>addressing the immigration issue: Let\u2019s also remember that hundreds of thousands of talented, What I don\u2019t see working:<\/p>\n \u2013 Education. I call on every State to require that all students stay in<\/em> high school until they graduate or turn eighteen. <\/em>Great idea. How are you going to make that work? Parents have to be a total buy-in on this and they will never agree to it. Shoot, a bulk of parents quit parenting when kids turn 13. Ever try to get a 16-year-old do something they don\u2019t want to do?<\/p>\n \u2013 More on Education:\u00a0This Congress needs to stop the interest rates on\u00a0student loans from doubling in July. Extend the tuition tax credit we\u00a0started that saves middle-class families thousands of dollars. And<\/em> give more young people the chance to earn their way through college by\u00a0doubling the number of work-study jobs in the next five years. <\/em>And where is the money for those work-study jobs going to come from?<\/p>\n \u2013 And more on Education:\u00a0So let me put\u00a0colleges and universities on notice: If you can\u2019t stop tuition from\u00a0going up, the funding you get from taxpayers will go down. Higher\u00a0education can\u2019t be a luxury \u2013 it\u2019s an economic imperative that every\u00a0family in America should be able to afford. <\/em>Do you really imagine that colleges and universities like raising tuition? We pay lip service to education in this nation. Where are cash-strapped states supposed to get the monies from to help universities?<\/p>\n And China, they are not going to like President Obama\u2019s message much.<\/p>\n What about you?<\/p>\n What did you like? \nhardworking students in this country face another challenge: The fact\u00a0that they aren\u2019t yet American citizens. Many were brought here as\u00a0small children, are American through and through, yet they live every\u00a0day with the threat of deportation. <\/em>Reform in the immigration policy is the one area in which I actually support Newt Gingrich. He\u2019s got some good ideas on this issue. Whatever Obama\u2019s ideas are, he\u2019s made very little effort in getting them implemented.<\/p>\n
