When you die you will meet God.\u00a0<\/em>A red heartbeat flat-lining underscored the proclamation.<\/p>\nWhy is the prospect of meeting God upon one\u2019s death so often presented as a threat?\u00a0Shouldn\u2019t the thought of being face-to-face with God invoke images of a beautiful reunion?<\/p>\n
It\u2019s an irony that one of the most moral man to ever take office \u2014 Jimmy Carter \u2014 isn\u2019t considered by the pundits to be all that great of a president. And, now, pundits consider Clinton to be one of the best presidents in recent history.<\/p>\n
The problem with elections, Pastor surmised, is that curing what ails this country isn\u2019t dependent upon who or who isn\u2019t elected. Presidential terms are the stuff of dandelion dust.<\/p>\n
Change is up to each of us.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s like the old adage says: Be the change you want to see in the world.<\/em>\u00a0Start with yourself. Your family. Your neighborhood. Your community.<\/p>\nDon\u2019t be such an Eeyore, always whining, complaining.<\/p>\n
And remember to pray for the president, whether you consider him the right man for the job or not. It can\u2019t be easy leading a\u00a0country full of people expecting a political Messiah.<\/p>\n
