Back on March 19, I reported on<\/a> the strange coincidences between quarterback Tim Tebow and the Scriptural reference John 3:16<\/a>, especially during his stint with the Denver Broncos. I ended the story with this:<\/p>\n

\n

What we do know is that Tebow\u00a0worked out on Monday\u00a0<\/a>for the Philadelphia Eagles, who didn\u2019t immediately want to sign him (but didn\u2019t say they never would). If perhaps the Eagles did eventually take Tebow, he would be the backup to Mark Sanchez, the same QB he was second-string for at the New York Jets.<\/p>\n

At this point, it\u2019s uncertain\u00a0whether Tebow will ever suit up again for the NFL, but he might have sought a little bit of that Gospel mojo with the Eagles.<\/p>\n

And what was the date on Monday?<\/p>\n

Why, 3\/16, of course.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The\u00a0Eagles<\/a>\u00a0offseason just got a little bit crazier.<\/p>\n

According to Jay Glazer of FOX Sports, the Eagles will sign quarterback Tim Tebow on Monday to their roster.<\/p>\n

Tebow last played in the NFL in 2013 with the New England Patriots. He was cut prior to the start of the season, however.<\/p>\n

The signing of Tebow gives the Eagles five quarterbacks on the roster \u2014 Sam Bradford, Mark Sanchez, Matt Barkley, GJ Kinne and Tim Tebow.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

This is being widely reported, but no one knows yet what sort of a contract Tebow will sign or exactly how Eagles coach Chip Kelly will utilize him.<\/p>\n

Coach Chip Kelly told NFL Media\u2019s Steve Wyche last month that he\u2019s \u201c<\/span>always been a fan of Tim<\/a>.\u201d Now the coach will get a longer, closer look at the quarterback.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The Boston Globe reported<\/a>\u00a0that Tebow spent the past two years working with Tom House,\u00a0<\/span>Tom Brady<\/a>\u2018s personal quarterback coach. Per House, Tebow \u201cwent from being a little inaccurate and didn\u2019t throw a whole lot of spirals, to throwing very accurate and real good at spinning the ball.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

No matter what happens, it\u2019s certain that Tebow has tremendous faith in himself and in God. If all this works out for him, it\u2019ll be the result of a lot of determination, persistence and hard work, as he honed his skills and refused to give up on his dream of being an NFL QB.<\/p>\n

Tim Tebow<\/a>\u00a0plans to sign a one-year deal Monday with the\u00a0Eagles<\/a>, a league source said Sunday night.<\/p>\n

Tebow flew in to Philadelphia on Sunday night in time to be in attendance for the start of the Eagles\u2019 offseason program Monday.<\/p>\n

Philadelphia has finalized an agreement with the 27-year-old Tebow, the framework of which was put into place when he worked out for the team last month. Tebow will be paid the minimum salary.<\/p>\n

Before signing Tebow, the Eagles first wanted to try to trade backup quarterback\u00a0Matt Barkley<\/a>.
