\"\"<\/a>The new St. Francis App<\/strong>\u2014the first app dedicated to the saint of Assisi\u2014will be available for download in January.<\/p>\n

The app was presented to the media in Assisi on December 7, at the Papal Basilica of Saint Mary of the Angels in Portiuncula, during an international exhibition of Nativity scenes.<\/p>\n

Developed by the Italian company Matitegiovanotte in collaboration with the Friars Minor of Assisi, the St. Francis App is currently\u00a0downloadable<\/a>\u00a0only for Android, at a cost of \u20ac 0.89 (roughly $1.21 in U.S. dodllars),\u00a0 In January, it will be available for the iPhone.\u00a0 English and Spanish language versions will also be released next month.<\/p>\n

The St. Francis App will feature \u201c365 Days with St. Francis\u201d<\/strong>, a daily meditation from the saint:\u00a0 a reflection from Francis himself, a short story or a prayer. \u00a0Also included are hundreds of images of Francis, of the places where he lived, his miracles, and the mystical moments of his life as depicted in art.<\/p>\n
