Everyone needs to get away once in a while.\u00a0 Could it be that Jesus, too, needed to kick back, enjoy some music and some fries, and check out the sights in balmy San Diego?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Retired 911 operator Chuck Rickman, 64, thinks so.\u00a0 Rickman was out taking a walk on the weekend of January 19-20 when he spotted the Son of God in a window of the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego.<\/strong>\u00a0 Quickly, he pulled out his cell phone and snapped a picture.\u00a0 In an interview with the Huffington Post<\/a>, Rickman later explained that he\u2019s not religious:\u00a0 He thought the image could be either Jesus or Led Zeppelin.<\/p>\n

Matt Greene, the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego\u2019s general manager, took news of Christ\u2019s appearance in stride.<\/strong>\u00a0 \u201cCelebrities stay here all the time,\u201d<\/em> he said, \u201cbut if it is Jesus, he\u2019d be the biggest one to stay here.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Myself, I\u2019m not really buying into the \u201cJesus in a window\/tree trunk\/taco shell\u2026\u201d phenomenon.<\/strong>\u00a0 When He comes, I\u2019m pretty sure He won\u2019t tease us with greasy smears on glass, and we\u2019ll recognize Him in all His grandeur.\u00a0 It would be great, though, if the sinners of San Diego would ponder the possibility of Christ\u2019s manifestation and turn their lives around, becoming Isaiah 55 people.<\/p>\n

Seek\u00a0the LORD while he may be found;\u00a0call\u00a0on him while he is near.\u00a0Let the wicked forsakehis way and the evil man his thoughts.\u00a0Let him turn\u00a0to the LORD, and he will have mercy\u00a0on him, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.<\/p>\n
