$\"\"$ <\/a>U.S. President Donald Trump is right about his constant public use of the terminology \u201cFake News.\u201d He\u2019s the fake, and the news media is just reporting about it. That\u2019s Fake News. He\u2019s the fake because likely draft dodger poses as such a U.S. patriot. But this week he has been exposed even more as being a guy who doesn\u2019t really believe in our form of government, which is democracy with free and fair elections. He is for subverting free elections as long as it gets him elected. It\u2019s always about him, not about America.<\/p>\n

This week has proved it more than any other. It\u2019s why House Speaker Nancy Pelosi\u2013the only person I\u2019ve seen who I think scares Trump so much he\u2019s shaking in his boots\u2013officially announced Tuesday that six House committees were now beginning impeachment proceedings against the president.<\/p>\n

What happened this week? Sunday, it was reported that President Trump made a phone call to the new President\u00a0Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine, pressuring him to dig up political dirt on Democratic challenger and former U.S. Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter for Hunter\u2019s former business activities in Ukraine. Then the president released an edited transcript of this phone call. It pretty obviously reveals, to the unbiased mind, that Trump mentioned his withholding of $391 million in foreign aid\u2013mostly military to stave off Russia\u2013as leverage to get political dirt on Joe. That is arguably a crime as a violation of campaign finance laws. But the fact that it involved aiding a struggling democracy and former Soviet satellite that is fighting for its life against the U.S.\u2019s biggest enemy of all time, against whom we survived the Cold War, is most astonishing. And then to think that this phone call, on July 25th, occurred the very day after Special Counsel Robert Mueller testified before Congress about his two-year investigation of Russia meddling in our 2016 presidential election, which Trump won, is so flabbergasting! It\u2019s as though there is no bounds to which The Donald will not exceed in whatever he wants to do to promote his own self interests. He obviously believed that he had been exonerated of wrongdoing, that is, possible collusion with Russians during the election campaign, and now would carry on with the same activity for which he had been investigated.<\/p>\n

$\"\"$ <\/a>This story for the week goes on and on so much that it is mind boggling. As soon as White House lawyers heard what Trump said in this July 25th phone call, they quickly moved to have the electronic record of it stored away in a special place to hide it further. This act proved that they thought it was damning to the president. Yet the president released the transcript of it thinking he had no problem. He had said repeatedly that he did nothing wrong and that it was \u201ca perfect call.\u201d Wrong! That was not the right call, at least for Trump. It could ultimately land him in real serious trouble.<\/p>\n

Trump also said again this week that the Dems move on impeachment is just more Witch Hunt. I think Trump is right about this, also. He\u2019s the Witch!<\/p>\n

I get a lot push back for making such criticisms in my blog about President Trump. I wouldn\u2019t do it except the man deserves it due to his behavior and mouth. He is a serious threat to our democracy, and he needs to be removed from office because of it.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
