I sometimes blog about COVID-19 because I wrote a small book about it (130 pp.), published in July, 2020, entitled Moses Predicted COVID-19<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In a previous blog post<\/a>, I came down pretty hard on the PGA Tour\u2019s new star Bryson DeChambeau when he said of the COVID vaccine, \u201cI\u2019m young enough, I\u2019d rather give it to people who need it. I don\u2019t need it. I\u2019m a healthy, young individual that will continue to work on my health.\u201d I afterwards thought of writing a post, but decided against it, about how these macho guys who are anti- or non-vaxxers likely would be the first in line to get the shot if researchers learned that COVID-19 can cause erectile dysfunction (ED) and lower sperm count. Guess what, that\u2019s what they\u2019re now saying.<\/p>\n

Actually, COVID researchers have been saying it for almost a year now. The New York Times<\/em> published an article today about it entitled \u201cResearch Ties Erectile Issues to Coronavirus.\u201d Elite medical sources are saying this, such as Johns Hopkins University. Its researchers say the case for COVID ED is \u201ccompelling.\u201d<\/p>\n

A study led by Emmanuele A. Jannini, MD, professor of endocrinology and medical sexology at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, Rome, Italy, was published<\/a> on March 20 last year in Andrology<\/em> that shows men who\u2019ve had COVID are six times more likely to have ED from it. And some researchers say that men with long-COVID are even more susceptible to it. The reason is that the receptors that the coronavirus must bind to in order to cause infection are more abundant on the male sexual anatomy.<\/p>\n

The National Institute of Health\u2019s PMC website has a study<\/a> that appeared last September in the Sex Medical Review<\/em>, authored by five researchers, entitled \u201cThe Epidemic of COVID-19 Related Erectile Dysfunction\u201d (short title). Its introduction states, \u201cCOVID-19 infection is expected to be associated with an increased likelihood of erectile dysfunction (ED). Considering the high transmissibility of COVID-19, ED may be a concerning consequence for a large segment of the population.\u201d<\/p>\n
