Bible Predicts Trump Fall <\/em><\/a>and publish it last year. Many times I had applied wisdom literature of the Bible to Trump and some of Jesus\u2019 sayings. too. My chief text was Proverbs 16.18, \u201cPride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.\u201d Another was Proverbs 11.2, \u201cWhen pride comes, then comes disgrace.\u201d My main reason for claiming all of this was to show that God is real and his words, recorded in the Bible through his prophets and others, can be trusted.<\/p>\nMid-way through Trump\u2019s presidency, I posted this on July 2018, \u201cI think Trumpgate will make Watergate look like a Sunday school picnic. That\u2019s what is playing out before our eyes now. The House of Representatives impeached him twice, more than in U.S. president ever, and now he\u2019s been indicted by the State of New York (3 months ago) and Smith\u2019s federal indictment this week.<\/p>\n
Because of Donald Trump\u2019s constant criticism of people when he is worse at that fault, I repeatedly applied to him Jesus\u2019 warning in his Sermon on the Mount, \u201cJudge not, that you be not judged\u201d (Matthew 7.1). By understanding what he then meant about a splinter or log in an eye, he obviously didn\u2019t mean not to judge, but don\u2019t do it if you are guilty of the same thing because that is hypocrisy. Trump proves that of himself time and time again. The evidence behind these charges today by Special Counsel Jack Smith shows what a big hypocrite Donald Trump has been.<\/p>\n
Smith actually has been conducting two investigations of\u00a0 the former president: illegally taking and refusing to hand over government classified documents and the violent and deadly riot against the Capitol on January 6th, 2021, for the purpose of overturning a fair and free presidential election. The indictment Smith brought this week regards the classified documents investigation. Trump will be arraigned next Tuesday for it in a Miami federal court since the wrongdoing was committed at Trump\u2019s Mar-a Lago residence\/club in Palm Beach, Florida. So, Mr. Smith could soon bring another indictment against the former president, which could be the charge of sedition. Experts say that will be more difficult to prove in a court of law.<\/p>\n
But the 37 counts against Trump released today have very damning evidence behind them. The wrongdoing includes illegally possessing classified government documents concerning national security, both ours and that of some of our allies, and even about nuclear weapons.
