Hi there friends, I am writing today to admit I have hit a bit of a creative frustration wall in my blogging life. I am overwhelmed with both the good news of more and more states striking down bans on same-sex marriage (way to go South Carolina<\/a> and Montana<\/a>!) and mortally stupefying news such as: \u00a0 Baby-Swaggart Asshat\u2019s\u00a0claim<\/a>\u00a0that are of the same heart as ISIS\u2026<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cthe only difference between them and ISIS, those thugs in Iraq, is those here cannot chop our heads off. That\u2019s the only difference. The heart is the same. The heart is the same. If they could silence us that way to intimidate others, that\u2019s exactly what they would do\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Misogynistic (NOT)Pastor<\/a> who claims that women who have sex before marriage are \u2018Filthy Dishrags\u2019\u2026<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cOne wonders, whatever happened to purity?\u201d he asked in the sermon. \u201cWhatever happened to that? Whatever happened to the days when girls said, I\u2019m not going to be touched by every guy? I\u2019m not going to walk down the aisle like a filthy dishrag on my wedding day. Whatever happened to that day?\u201d<\/p>\n

The insane Duggar-gate<\/a>\u00a0(who the f**k watches that garbage and why??)<\/p>\n

\u201cMost recently, the Duggars asked couples to post photos of themselves kissing, on their official Facebook page. Once same-sex couples began posting photos, many of the were removed, including one posted by LGBT activist and editor-in-chief of Bilerico John Becker.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

All this to say that I\u00a0want to take a leap of faith and invite y\u2019all ask questions of ye old blogger.\u00a0\u00a0After a time of sorting, reflection, research, prayer and discernment I will attempt to answer the good the bad and the ugly. Sorta similar to Rachel Held Evans\u2019 \u201cAsk A\u2026\u201d<\/a> series only over here all you get is one worn-out southern Christian lesbian mamma whose field is barren\u2026<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

I will leave the comments section wide open to see what happens. After a week or so of questions I will pick through the fodder and within a week of or so of that post the best responses I can muster. Y\u2019all in?<\/strong> Either this will be a great idea, totally insane or a complete flop.
