We are at a crossroads<\/em>.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

The Lord has entrusted us with many souls who need to hear of His love. Let us then have ears to hear the plea of the Holy Spirit to live differently, <\/span>keep eternity in mind, <\/span>divorce ourselves from the world, <\/span>guard what has been entrusted to us, work hard, teach others, endure hardship, stay pure, remain faithful and fulfill the ministry.<\/span><\/p>\n

In essence, we must be <\/strong><\/span>men and women of godly character,<\/span><\/strong> who, in the midst of much compromise, choose to stay true to Christ and His call and thus fulfill the purpose for which He has c<\/span>a<\/span>lled us.<\/span><\/p>\n

As I close my eyes and try to feel the heartbeat of Paul, I can almost hear him say, <\/span>\u201cTimothy, follow my example, son. I did not give up, no matter how much hunger, nakedness, beatings, shipwreck, imprisonment, rejection and misunderstanding I faced. <\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Compromise may surround you. This journey will be an uphill climb. But for you\u2014you stay on course. The wind that will blow against your face may be bitter cold and fierce. Your Lord faced that same wind against Him\u2014don\u2019t expect any less as you follow Him.\u201d<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Godly Character \u2013 It\u2019s Your Choice<\/span><\/h3>\n

This kind of living is a choice that <\/span>only you<\/span> can make<\/span><\/strong>\u2014<\/span>only you can choose to press on. God\u2019s grace will meet you at the point of your decision. When others around you, even those you may have once esteemed, look for an easier, more relaxed road,<\/span> only you<\/span> can make the choice to press past that and continue your pursuit, pressing on toward the mark. <\/span><\/p>\n

No matter what others may be doing or what may be accepted as the norm, hear the Lord Jesus saying, <\/span>But for you, you follow Me. Set your hand to the plow, and My grace will be there to keep you, if only you choose to stand against the wind and press on toward the higher call.<\/span><\/p>\n

Will you be one to stand out from the rest and be remembered in heaven and on earth for the impact you made upon your generation?<\/strong> Will you choose to stand against the wind and be recognized by God in <\/span>His search for men<\/span><\/a>?<\/span><\/p>\n

Stand Up and Stand Out<\/div>
Today, make the choice to stand against the wind. <\/div><\/div>\n<\/p>
