celebrated Candlemass in Spanish. \u00a0In Mexico, it is traditional to bring a baby Jesus statue dressed in baby clothes to be presented at the church and be blessed, calling to mind how Mary and Joseph took Jesus to be presented at the Temple forty days after his birth. \u00a0Also, it is traditional in Mexico that the person who got the baby in the King Cake on Epiphany\u00a0provides the tamales for today\u2019s celebration.<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\">The turnout was much higher than I expected, about 140 people, which was great. \u00a0We began in the narthex and processed around the Church singing in the dark before beginning Mass. \u00a0We finished the evening with exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"https:\/\/wp-media.patheos.com\/blogs\/sites\/613\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-d6Rab8qClhk\/Tys-bt_kLVI\/AAAAAAAAAzU\/xvs9dT5qSDc\/s1600\/DSC03088.JPG\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\"><img
