If someone wanted to accuse another seminarian of improper conduct or bring forward an issue to the seminary faculty, the accusation or observation could not be anonymous.  If it was done anonymously, the seminary ignored it.<\/p>\n<p>Using that same principle, I ask all of you my readers to identify yourselves when you post a comment.  I love discussion, the exchange of ideas, and debate, but I must know who is speaking in order to better engage in conversation, especially if we know each other personally.  Most of you leave comments on my Facebook page where I link newly uploaded posts, and that is great.  If you leave a comment on the blog itself, please take responsibility for what you have expressed.<\/p>\n<p>I have in the past accepted a few anonymous comments on my blog, but these have been very short and simple comments.  Most of them I was able to figure out who had written them based on the content of the comment.   I will no longer post anonymous comments.<\/p>\n<p>I have nothing against those who disagree with me or would like to engage in conversation.  It is precisely in discussion that we grow in knowledge and mold our opinions.
