Some months ago someone asked me, \u201cof all the churches you\u2019ve visited, which one is the most beautiful?\u201d Ever since then I\u2019ve been thinking about it, but it\u2019s very difficult to pick just one.<\/p>\n

As I was looking through some old pictures today, I came across pictures of a church I visited in Munich, Germany, the Abbey of Saint Boniface. This church however does not stand out for its remarkable beauty, but rather for the shock is induces when one enters it. The contrast between the facade and the interior is dramatic. The Abbey was built in the 19th century, destroyed during World War II and partially rebuilt soon after the war.<\/p>\n

As I continue to consider which church from those I have visited is the most beautiful, I know I can put this one aside.<\/p>\n
