Hace varios a\u00f1os le\u00ed emocionado sobre un hallazgo incre\u00edble en los archivos del Vaticano. Era tan incre\u00edble que termin\u00f3 siendo falso. Un cient\u00edfico hab\u00eda encontrado un documento del primer siglo donde un historiador romano registr\u00f3 como testigo ocular el milagro de Jes\u00fas resucitando a un beb\u00e9. Despu\u00e9s de investigar por algunos minutos aprend\u00ed que el art\u00edculo era falso. \u00a0Me consol\u00e9 diciendo, \u201cBueno, siempre tenemos a Josefo y T\u00e1cito\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

He conocido a personas que dudan la historicidad de Jes\u00fas. Afirman que no existe documentaci\u00f3n sobre la existencia de Jes\u00fas a parte del Nuevo Testamento y clasifican a Jesus como un personaje ficticio como Mickey Mouse o Robin Hood. Aunque el documento del art\u00edculo mencionado previamente era falso, si existen documentos extra-b\u00edblicos que hist\u00f3ricamente confirman la existencia de Jes\u00fas.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

El primero proviene del historiador jud\u00edo Josefo quien escribi\u00f3 Antig\u00fcedades de los Jud\u00edos<\/i> en el a\u00f1o 94 despu\u00e9s de Cristo. \u00a0 Josefo escribe, \u201cpor este tiempo apareci\u00f3 Jes\u00fas, un hombre sabio, y atrajo hacia \u00e9l a muchos jud\u00edos. \u00a0Y cuando Pilato lo hab\u00eda condenado a la cruz, aquellos que lo hab\u00eda amado primero no le abandonaron. \u00a0La tribu de los cristianos, llamados as\u00ed por \u00e9l, no ha cesado de crecer hasta este d\u00eda.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

El segundo documento viene del historiador romano T\u00e1cito quien en sus Anuales<\/i> escritos en el a\u00f1o 116, narra el incendio de Roma iniciado por el emperador Ner\u00f3n. \u00a0T\u00e1cito escribe, \u201cen consecuencia, para librarse de la acusaci\u00f3n, Ner\u00f3n busc\u00f3 r\u00e1pidamente un culpable, e infringi\u00f3 las m\u00e1s exquisitas torturas sobre un grupo odiado por sus abominaciones, que el pueblo llama cristianos. \u00a0Cristo, de quien toman el nombre, sufri\u00f3 la pena capital durante el principado de Tiberio de la mano de uno de nuestros procuradores, Poncio Pilato.\u201d \u00a0Tambi\u00e9n en los Anuales<\/i>, T\u00e1cito manifiesta c\u00f3mo esta \u201cda\u00f1ina superstici\u00f3n\u201d surgi\u00f3 en Roma, pero sus seguidores \u201cfueron cubiertos con pellejos de bestias, fueron despedazados por perros y perecieron, o fueron crucificados, o condenados a la hoguera y quemados para servir de iluminaci\u00f3n nocturna, cuando el d\u00eda hubiera acabado.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Un \u00faltimo documento se encuentra entre los escritos de Suetonio quien en 121 escribi\u00f3 sobre las vidas de los emperadores romanos. En su libro menciona la expulsi\u00f3n de los jud\u00edos de Roma en el a\u00f1o 49. Narra que \u201cClaudio expuls\u00f3 a los jud\u00edos de Roma, los cuales instigados por Chrestus no cesaban en su agitaci\u00f3n.\u201d \u00a0Historiadores coinciden en que Chrestus representa un malentendido entre romanos de lo que estaba ocurriendo en la comunidad jud\u00eda de Roma al tiempo que muchos jud\u00edos reconoc\u00edan a Jes\u00fas como el Cristo. Este reporte es paralelo a los Hechos de los Ap\u00f3stoles donde San Pablo se encuentra con Prisca y Aquila quienes hab\u00edan sido expulsados de Roma por el emperador Claudio.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Aunque ninguno de estos relatos nos puede dar la fe para creer que Jesucristo es el Hijo de Dios, estos si comprueban la historicidad de Jes\u00fas.
