The joke is funny but it misses the point completely of what a mystery is.<\/p>\n<p>A mystery, though it can never be fully understood, invites us to continuously explore it, not to dismiss it quickly as an incomprehensible thing.  For example, a murder mystery invites FBI agents to continue investigating and exploring, not to dismiss the case as a mystery.<\/p>\n<p>The mystery of the Trinity invites us to approach it in awe as we seek to understand it.  It\u2019s a mystery that invites for continuous exploration and investigation.  The Trinity is a mystery because you can keep talking about it without evern fully wrappping your mind around it, not because there is nothing to say about it.<\/p>\n<p>The word itself, Trinity, has been assigned my human minds to describe this mystery since Scripture does not give it a name.
