<\/p>
In the twenty-third year to Yo\u2019ash son of \u2018Achazyahu king of Yehudah
Reigned-as-king Yeho\u2019achaz son of Yehu\u2019 over Yisrael in Shomron seventeen years.
And he did the evil in the eyes of Yahweh
And the walked after the sins of Yarav\u2019am son of Nevat who caused-Israel-to-sin.
He did not turned aside from them.
And the nose of Yahweh burned in Yisrael
And he gave them in the hand of Chaza\u2019el king of \u2018Aram
And in the hand of Son-of-Hadad son of Chaza\u2019el all the days.
And Yeho\u2019achaz fell ill before the face of Yahweh
And heard to him Yahweh
For he saw the oppression of Yisrael
For oppressed them the king of Aram.
And gave Yahweh to Yisrael a savior
And they went forth from under the hand of \u2018Aram
And they dwelt, the sons of Israel, in their tents just as formerly three days ago. <\/p>\n
Howbeit, they did not turn from the sins of the house of Yarav\u2019am
who caused-Israel-to-sin.
In her he walked and also the \u2018Asherah stood in Shomron.
For there did not remain to Yeho\u2019achaz a people,
except fifty horsemen and ten chariots and ten thousand on foot.
For the king of \u2018Aram destroyed them
And set them as dust for treading. <\/p>\n
Now the remnant of the acts\/words of Yeho\u2019achaz and all which he did and his might,
Are they themselves not writings on the scrolls of the things\/words of the days of the kings of Yisrael?
And slept Yeho\u2019achaz with his fathers
And they buried him in Shomron.
And reigned-as-king Yo\u2019ash his son in his place. <\/p>\n
In the thirty-seventh year to Yo\u2019ash king of Yehudah
Reigned-as-king Yeho\u2019azh son of Yeho\u2019achaz over Yisrael in Shomron sixteen years.
And he did the evil in the eyes of Yahweh
He did not turn back from all the sins of Yarav\u2019am son of Nevat
who caused-Israel-to-sin.
In her he walked.
Now the remnant of the words\/deeds of Yo\u2019ash and all which he did
And his might which he fought with \u2018Amatz\u2019yah king of Yehudah
Are they themselves not writings on the scrolls of the words\/deeds of the days to the kings of Yisrael.
And slept Yo\u2019ash with his fathers.
And Yarav\u2019am sat on his throne.
And Yo\u2019ash was buried in Shomron with the kings of Yisrael. <\/p>\n
Now \u2018Eliysha\u2019 became ill with the illness which he died in it
And came down to him Yo\u2019ash king of Yisrael
And he wept over his face and said
\u201cMy father! My father!
Chariot of Israel and its horseman!\u201d
And said to him \u2018Eliysha\u2019
\u201cTake a bow and arrows.\u201d
And he took to him a bow and arrows.
And he said to the king of Yisrael,
\u201cCause your hand to drive over the bow.\u201d
And he caused his hand to drive.
And set \u2018Eliysha\u2019 his hand on the hands of the king.
And he said,
\u201cOpen the window eastward.\u201d
And he opened.
And said \u2018Eliysha\u2019,
\u201cShoot.\u201d
And he shot.
And he said,
\u201cArrow of salvation for Yahweh\/
And arrow of salvation on \u2018Aram.
For you shall strike \u2018Aram in \u2018Afeq until it is finished.\u201d
And he said,
\u201cTake the arrows.\u201d
And he took the arrows.
And he said to the king of Yisrael,
\u201cStrike the land.\u201d
And he struck three times and he stood.
And provoked-to-anger at him [was] the man of the \u2018Elohim and he said,
\u201cTo cause-to-strike four five or six times.
Then you strike \u2018Aram until it is finished.
But now three times you shall strike \u2018Aram.\u201d <\/p>\n
And died \u2018Eliysha\u2019 and they buried him.
Now marauding-bands of Moav were entered in the land
in the entrance of the year.
And it was they themselves burying a man
And look! They saw a marauding-band.
And they threw the man in the grave of \u2018Eliysha\u2019.
And he walked\/went and touched the man on the bones of \u2018Eliysha\u2019.
And he lived and arose on his feet. <\/p>\n
Now Chaz\u2019ael king of \u2018Aram oppressed Yisrael all the days of Yeho\u2019achaz.
And Yahweh was gracious to them
And he felt compassion for them
And he faced to them on account of his covenant with \u2018Avraham, Yitzchaq, and Ya\u2019aqov.
And he was not willing to ruin them
And he did not throw them from over his face until now.
And died Chaza\u2019el king of \u2018Aram.
And reigned-as-king Son-of-Hadad his son in his place.
And slept Yeho\u2019ash son of Yeho\u2019achaz
And the took cities from the hand of Son-of-Hadad son of Chaza\u2019el
Which he took from the hand of Yeho\u2019achaz his father in battle.
Three times Yo\u2019ash struck him
