Well, there\u2019s a problem with speaking well of a book before reading far enough in it. I\u2019m still learning a lot from Stephen Schwartz\u2019s Two Faces of Islam <\/i> , but fairly early in the book he makes it clear that he\u2019s working with the view that at least all \u201cAbrahamic faiths\u201d can work together for the betterment of mankind. His hope is that \u201cIslam may . . . fulfill its destiny as a positive force for all humanity.\u201d So, my enthusiasm for the book is now a significantly qualified enthusiasm. <\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
