I\u2019m not sure that I made my point clear in an earlier post about \u201cjustified\u201d in Rom 2:13: I was hinting and gesturing toward the conclusion that \u201cjustified\u201d here must include the notion of \u201crescue,\u201d and not merely a judicial sentence. Because \u201cjustified\u201d is structurally opposed to \u201cperish,\u201d it must include the notion of \u201crescue from death.\u201d That is forensic because it involves God passing judgment in favor of the one who does the Torah.
