LOS ANGELES \u2013 With less than one month until production, Catholic vocations organization Imagine Sisters is proud to announce a \ufb01lm about the beauty of religious life: Light of Love<\/em><\/a>. The \ufb01lm will be centered around \ufb01ve interviews with sisters from around the United States and will include a \ufb01rst-hand look into the prayer, service, and love of religious sisters. Beginning in Los Angeles, CA, the team will travel to the Carmelite Sisters of the Most Sacred Heart of Los Angeles, then to Steubenville, Ohio with the Franciscan Sisters of Penance of the Sorrowful Mother, then to the Franciscan Sisters of the Martyr St. George in Alton, IL, then to Washington, DC to \ufb01lm the Servants of the Lord and the Virgin of Matara, and concluding in New Jersey with the Salesian Sisters of St. John Bosco.<\/p>\n

The \ufb01lm will be presented by Lighthouse Catholic Media and produced by Los Angeles based media companies Lumen Vere and Altius Studios. Incorporating the powerful techniques of documentary \ufb01lmmaking, Light of Love aims to both challenge hearts and inspire vocations to religious life. The \ufb01lm is set to be released on September 8th, the anniversary of St. Therese of Lisieux\u2019s profession of \ufb01nal vows. The \ufb01lm will be available to view and download free of charge from the Imagine Sisters and Lighthouse websites and social networks.<\/p>\n

Funded primarily by generous individual supporters, Light of Love seeks to raise the remaining $8,000 required for \ufb01nishing and promoting the \ufb01lm by creating DVD copies to be sent to schools, parishes, and Newman Centers across the United States. Taxdeductible donations can be made through the Light of Love website. With the unbelievable support of the many followers of Imagine Sisters and the talented, professional \ufb01lmmaking team, Light of Love aims to become a \ufb01lm that moves hearts to love and serve in the name of our Lord.<\/p>\n
