Is that just because they\u2019re lower-profile projects? Heck, <em>The Gospel <\/em>made it into the Top Five at the box office this week, and <em>Diary of a Mad Black Woman <\/em>went to #1! Is there some kind of prevailing attitude that, among African Americans, Christianity is just a cultural thing and not the same religion that seems to threaten reactionaries in the mainstream press?<\/p>\n<p>What gives?<\/p>\n<p>Discuss.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Are audiences and critics more accepting of Christian films if the Christians in them are black?
