One of my dearest, closest friends, Todd Fadel, who I\u2019ve known since we were\u2026 oh\u2026 two?\u2026 is in a band called The Beauty<\/a>. (The other fellow in the band is Matt Zimmerman.)<\/p>\n

They\u2019re from Portland.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve been in an improv comedy band with Todd for about 15 years now\u2026 The Garbage Chute Flyboys\u2026 a little part of my life I never really discuss here.<\/p>\n

Anyway, The Beauty is not a comedy band. They rock. Specifically, they rock Portland, Oregon. They also rock MySpace.<\/p>\n

And The Beauty has just been named as one of the few finalists<\/a> in Rolling Stone\u2019s Best Bands on MySpace!<\/p>\n
