Tough one. I\u2019d probably say I would have loved to be at the premiere of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring<\/em> with all of the folks who worked on it. I had the pleasure of spending more than seven hours interviewing the cast and crew of The Return of the King<\/em>, and I think it would have been very special to be in their midst when they saw the fruit of all their labors on the big screen for the first time.<\/p>\n
But I would also have enjoyed being in the audience for the first screening of Wings of Desire<\/em>. I\u2019ll be that theatre was silent and filled with awe.<\/p>\n
The premiere of The Muppet Movie<\/em> would have been fantastic, with all of those stars, and the Henson\/Oz team being celebrated as heroes.<\/p>\n
I have a hard time imagining what the first screening of Star Wars<\/em> did to its audience.<\/p>\n
I have vivid memories of many press screenings and opening days. Paul Thomas Anderson and Adam Sandler sat right behind me for the Seattle press screening of Punch-drunk Love<\/em> at Seattle\u2019s Cinerama, which was an unforgettable event.<\/p>\n
