Here is the first February batch of Fingertips: <\/p>\n

I\u2019m adding this to my must-see list. Echoes of\u00a0Harold and Maude, Rushmore, Flirting<\/em>\u2026 all good things.<\/p>\n

<\/iframe><\/p>\n\u2022<\/p>\nAnne and I watched Micmacs<\/em> this weekend. I love Jean-Pierre Jeunet\u2019s films, especially Delicatessen<\/em> and Amelie<\/em>.<\/p>\nMicmacs<\/em> is a lot of fun, but I admit, my favorite moment was the unexpected, fleeting appearance of two major characters from one of those two earlier films. Anne and I cheered. Did you catch the surprise?<\/p>\n\u2022<\/p>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/uk-england-merseyside-12380763\" target=\"_blank\" class=\" decorated-link\" rel=\"nofollow\">Farewell to the prolific, beloved fantasy author <\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/uk-england-merseyside-12380763\" target=\"_blank\" class=\" decorated-link\" rel=\"nofollow\">Brian Jacques<\/a><\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/uk-england-merseyside-12380763\" target=\"_blank\" class=\" decorated-link\" rel=\"nofollow\">.<\/a><\/p>\n\u2022<\/p>\nDarren Aronofsky<\/strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.slashfilm.com\/darren-aronofskys-noah-2\/\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">is still thinking about making a movie about Noah.<\/a><\/p>\n\u2022<\/p>\nFinally! <a href=\"http:\/\/arts.nationalpost.com\/2011\/02\/03\/william-shatner-is-recording-a-metal-album\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\" decorated-link\" rel=\"nofollow\">Shatner is recording a heavy metal album.<\/a><\/p>\n\u2022<\/p>\nA boredom conference? I think I would find <a href=\"http:\/\/online.wsj.com\/article\/SB10001424052748703395904576025482554838642.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">this<\/a> riveting\u2026<\/p>\n<blockquote>\u201cBrace yourself for five piping-hot minutes of inertia,\u2019 said William Barrett. Then he began reciting the names of every single one of 415 colors listed in a paint catalog: damson dream, dauphin, dayroom yellow, dead salmon\u2026and on and on and on. Mr. Barrett\u2019s talk was titled, \u201cLike Listening to Paint Dry,\u201d and \u2026 it was a hit.
