So much has happened recently in such a short period of time that it\u2019s one of those for real moments of \u2018when it rains it pours.\u2019 I\u2019m back now, but here is a quick summary of what has happened over the last few weeks, just in case you haven\u2019t been able to keep up on Facebook or Twitter:<\/p>\n<p>April\u00a03-26 \u2013 I\u2019m on my England Tour<\/p>\n<p>April 27 \u2013 Speak at Q in Chicago<\/p>\n<p>April 29-May 3 \u2013 Speak at the LGBT The Evangelical Network conference in California<\/p>\n<p>May 4-6 \u2013\u00a0Teach at the Salvation Army Southern Territory Youth Worker Institute in Orlando<\/p>\n<p>May 14-16 \u2013 Speak at Urban Youth Workers Institute in Pasedena, CA<\/p>\n<p>May 18 \u2013 Host The Marin Foundation\u2019s Living in the Tension Event in Chicago<\/p>\n<p>May 21-24 \u2013 Preach all 4 services at Parkcrest Church in Long Beach, CA<\/p>\n<p>June 2-6 \u2013 Speaking at RE: Woman\u2019s Conference in Miami<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, while I\u201dm traveling and my internal clock is whacked,\u00a0here\u2019s what\u2019s happening at home:<\/p>\n<p>April 27-28 \u2013 Brenda and I lost the condo we were trying to buy thanks\u00a0to a group of\u00a0high-priced\u00a0lawyers who wiggled the sellers out of a SIGNED contract! Jerks. Now we don\u2019t have anywhere to move as of June 1.<\/p>\n<p>May 1 \u2013 My Grandma falls and breaks her hip<\/p>\n<p>May 2 \u2013 During surgery for her hip, my Grandma has a heart attack because she was severely anemic<\/p>\n<p>May 3 \u2013 Grandma\u2019s kidney\u2019s start to fail because her heart can\u2019t keep up<\/p>\n<p>May 7-10 \u2013 I go to the burbs\u00a0to stay with my family and Grandma in the hospital<\/p>\n<p>May 11-14 \u2013 Brenda (my wife) has\u00a0a surgical procedure, of which she has another tomorrow (see her blog on the right sidebar for more info)<\/p>\n<p>May 17 \u2013 My laptop broke and it needed to get sent away for 3 whole freaking weeks! Like I don\u2019t need it or anything (yes, that is sarcastic)<\/p>\n<p>May 26-30 \u2013 Pack and move out of our condo\u2026still don\u2019t have anywhere to move to yet due to what happened at the beginning of this post.<\/p>\n<p>All the while we have to pack our condo, go to work and try to keep up with everyday life \u2026 difficult seeing I\u2019ve had 4 days off in the last 37, of which 3 of them were spent\u00a0in the hospital with my Grandma. Please pray for me, my family and this season we\u2019re going through.
