I think it\u2019s important to remember that even when fundamentalists or evangelicals say they are just reading the Bible straightforwardly while other Christians pick and choose, they\u2019re forgetting that they themselves<\/em> pick and choose. \u201cSelective literalism\u201d is a good way to describe it.<\/p>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
