\u201cOh no you\u2019re not! I already married him. You have to pick someone else, because he\u2019s taken<\/em>.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThen I\u2019m going to marry Bobby.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cSorry honey, you can\u2019t marry your brother.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWhy not?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cBecause . . . you just can\u2019t.\u201d<\/span> (I still<\/em> haven\u2019t figured out how to explain this one.)\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cDo boys marry girls and girls marry boys?\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cUsually, but sometimes boys marry boys and girls marry girls. It\u2019s up to you.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cOh, okay. I pick a girl. I will marry Jessica.\u201d<\/span> (Jessica is a friend from her preschool.)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWell you don\u2019t have to decide yet. You have to grow up first, and then you can decide if you want to get married, and if so who you want to marry.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cYes, I know that.<\/span>\u201c<\/span> (Like, duh<\/em> mom.)<\/p>\n

Yep. Preschoolers are the best.<\/p>\n
