After this past Sunday\u2019s episode, I feel like we need another thread for discussing this season of Game of Thrones! And let me note for a moment, for those who may be upset with Margaery\u2019s current trajectory, that women in the middle ages often used religion to buttress their own position in various ways. It\u2019s actually surprising that all of Sansa\u2019s time in prayer in King\u2019s Landing didn\u2019t pay off for her in veneration by the people, and Margaery\u2019s recent\u00a0moves in the great game of power she is playing actually make a lot of sense.<\/p>\n
