To match the Good Friday poem, one of my favorites.<\/p>\n

Descending Theology: The Resurrection<\/strong>

From the far star points of his pinned extremities,<\/div>\n
cold inched in\u2014black ice and squid ink\u2014<\/div>\n
till the hung flesh was empty.<\/div>\n
Lonely in that void even for pain,<\/div>\n
he missed his splintered feet,<\/div>\n
the human stare buried in his face.<\/div>\n
He ached for two hands made of meat<\/div>\n
he could reach to the end of.<\/div>\n
In the corpse\u2019s core, the stone fist<\/div>\n
of his heart began to bang<\/div>\n
on the stiff chest\u2019s door, and breath spilled<\/div>\n
back into that battered shape. Now<\/div>\n
it\u2019s your limbs he comes to fill, as warm water<\/div>\n
shatters at birth, rivering every way.<\/div>\n<\/body><\/html>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
