With all of the extreme rhetoric surrounding politics recently, from the anti-gun debates about bathroom policies, it\u2019s easy to think America has gone off the deep end.\u00a0Our political elites continue to yell at each other, with no regard for what people really care about in their own communities.<\/p>\n

Through all of the noise, it is easy to forget about all the hard-working, faithful people who actually make up the majority of America, too busy loving their neighbors and caring for their communities to weigh in on all the chaos and noise.<\/p>\n

That is why I appreciate\u00a0this story out of Oregon<\/a> so much. \u00a0It reminds me that America isn\u2019t done quite yet.<\/p>\n

EAGLE POINT, Ore. \u2014 A man on a horse chased down and lassoed a suspected thief at the Eagle Point Walmart, according to witnesses.<\/p>\n

Police say that a woman was yelling about her bike being stolen and a nearby man unloaded a horse from a trailer, lassoed the man and pulled him back toward the store. They say that the man grabbed onto a tree and wouldn\u2019t let go.<\/p>\n

Eagle Point Police arrived on scene and arrested the man, identified as 22-year-old Victorino Arellano-Sanchez.\u00a0He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

What a great American.<\/div>\n

This just goes to show that when people are left alone and given freedom, they can take care of their own communities and govern themselves.<\/div>\n
