This is a reasonable question

If you are one of those Progessives who feels a sense of gleeful satisfaction at making those monobrow FOX-watching Christianist goobers stamp their tiny feet in impotent frustration before the march of Enlightened Thought, you should reflect on the fact that your man is, in addition to being an Attuned Being, also a draconian tyrant who claims the power to indefinitely detain and/or murder anybody on earth on the basis of him omnipotent and unilateral will alone. Some Progressives have the integrity to say this out loud. Huge numbers of them are, in the immortal words of Glenn Greenwald, repulsive progressive hypocrites.

Conservatives had an obligation (largely neglected) to speak while Bush was shredding the Constitution. You Progressives claimed to be better and have more integrity. So where’s the beef? Why are you supporting Obama? Just because you fear the Other Lizard?
