What is\u00a0Hello and Welcome!<\/i>\u00a0about?\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Real Faith, Real Life.\u00a0<\/b>Life isn\u2019t for wimps. Everyone needs help sorting it out. Do you have a hard time trusting God? A relationship gone sour? What about your kids? Far from home or far from God? Do you find it difficult to forgive? To pray? Are you lonely?<\/p>\n

Hello and Welcome!<\/i><\/b>\u00a0is a Christian podcast from a Catholic perspective full of stories, scripture, and practical Church teaching that will give you solid answers to life\u2019s frustrating questions. Need a kind voice and wise advice? Need to hear an uplifting story that makes your day better? How about a few laughs?\u00a0\u00a0Hello and Welcome!<\/i><\/b>\u00a0will fit the bill.<\/p>\n

Why podcasting?<\/b><\/p>\n

A podcast is a one-on-one audio experience.<\/i><\/b>\u00a0It\u2019s just you and me. You can listen one episode at a time or binge \u2013 listen on\u00a0your<\/i>\u00a0schedule. More importantly,\u00a0a podcast is international.<\/i><\/b>\u00a0My first podcast,\u00a0Mercy Unwrapped<\/a>,<\/i>\u00a0<\/i>had listens in the UK, South Africa, the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Kenya, and more.\u00a0Be a missionary with me!<\/b><\/p>\n

Podcasting is more economical than radio and has worldwide reach.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

What makes a great podcast?\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Time. Talent. Treasure<\/b>.\u00a0The goal is to make an engaging, high-quality podcast that grows to reach more and more people!<\/i><\/b>\u00a0Your generous gift will make it possible for\u00a0Hello and Welcome!<\/i><\/b>\u00a0to sound great, attract sponsors, and be 100% professional .<\/p>\n

Donations from the campaign pay for all expenses including\u00a0graphic design, music, marketing, and engineering<\/b>\u00a0for the first six months of production.\u00a0<\/i>ALL money above the goal will go to extending the show. Every extra $1200 is another month of podcasts!\u00a0<\/i><\/b>I have already invested a substantial amount of my own money. Pray hard, think big!<\/p>\n

A Bit About Me<\/b><\/p>\n

I produced a\u00a0podcast<\/a>\u00a0in the year of Mercy,\u00a0and then worked for over a year in live radio at\u00a0Immaculate Heart Radio<\/a>; I\u2019m a\u00a0writer,<\/a>\u00a0speaker, and have been tv host on EWTN. (Search\u00a0HOUSEHOLD OF FAITH here.<\/a>)\u00a0 I\u2019ve been trained by the best people in the industry to\u00a0Tell the truth, make it matter, and never be boring.*<\/i>\u00a0I was an Evangelical missionary before becoming Catholic. (See my story on\u00a0The Journey Home.<\/a>)I have a BA in Communications and a minor in Biblical Studies. I like people! But most of all,\u00a0I LOVE BEING CATHOLIC!<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

No politics. No criticism of Church leaders. No difficult theology. Others are already doing that. My objective\u00a0is to make sure you know that you are loved; that God is merciful, and that you can really, truly have a better life by following Jesus one day at a time. Real Faith. Real life.\u00a0\u00a0<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

2. This campaign will raise enough money for 6 months. If Hello and Welcome! does not attract sponsors, including monthly donors, it will end after those six months. A plan is in place to make one-time and ongoing donations possible.<\/p>\n
