So we are past a year into the most prolifeyest administration in the history of ever.\u00a0 Some of us remember when Constantine<\/a> Redivivus<\/a> was going to save us all from certain death at the hands of Diocletian Clinton<\/a>.\u00a0 This was the Flight 93 election<\/a>.\u00a0 Vote Trump or die horribly in searing pain!!!!\u00a0 All the stops were pulled out to scare the sheep into voting GOP.<\/p>\n

More than this, it was proposed as the election of a beautiful Baby Christian who would magic abortion away and, as ever, if you did not vote for him you were apostatizing from the Faith and were, natch, a babykiller with blood on your hands.<\/p>\n

Now that it has been clarified that by \u201cdefund Planned Parenthood\u201d the Party of Trump meant \u201cre-fund it to the tune of $500 million\u2013and for the sixth time<\/a>\u201d it\u2019s a good time to apply Jesus\u2019 advice to the fruits of Christianism:<\/p>\n

\u201cBeware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep\u2019s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thorns, or figs from thistles? So, every sound tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears evil fruit. A sound tree cannot bear evil fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus you will know them by their fruits. (Mt 7:15\u201320).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Wolves are, of course, predators.\u00a0 They kill and eat the sheep.\u00a0 So Jesus tells us to judge fruits because he does not want the sheep slaughtered.\u00a0 What have been the fruits of the Christianist liars who tell us to trust Trump and his party of predators while making war on Pope Francis and the Magisterium?<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not really complex, is it?\u00a0 War on the poor<\/a>.\u00a0 War on creation<\/a>. War on refugees<\/a>. War on working people<\/a>. War on science<\/a>. War on law<\/a>. War on common decency<\/a>. War for racism<\/a>. War for misogyny<\/a>. War for greed<\/a>.\u00a0 And freshly re-funded war on the unborn.\u00a0 So much prolife winning!\u00a0 If you are a Christian and you still trust Christianist rhetoric and support this pack of wolves, my sole question is, \u201cHow dumb can you be?\u201d<\/p>\n

Moreover, with the elevation of John Bolton, soon it will be just plain war.\u00a0 The liar in chief who said he opposed the war in Iraq has just elevated to National Security Advisor a maniac who wants war with the world<\/a>. This is a guy who even scares the hell out of hawks<\/a>. He wants war with Iran, China, Cuba, North Korea and is even partial to the idea of it with Russia. He is an unhinged lunatic. And he is now the chief advisor to a cowardly moron who dodged the draft and who badly needs to feel like he is brave. The minute hand just moved closer to midnight and it is long past time Christians realized that the Christianists who have dominated the discourse of American Christianity for twenty years need to be opposed, rejected, defunded, and run out of town on a rail before Anne Graham Lotz<\/a>\u2018 prayer for nuclear bombs to fall on US soil is heard, not by God, but by the idiots inviting catastrophe in the Oval Office. It is time for the American bishops and laity to stand up against this cultish freak show and make clear that excuse-making and support for this cult of death now poses a clear and present danger, not only to our country but to the world.<\/p>\n

I will get down on my knees and thank God Almighty if we see the year 2020 without the US plunged into a global conflagration of our own making.<\/p>\n

It is time to say \u201cEnough!\u201d to this cult that has used the unborn as human shields for the program of evil they have been carrying out.<\/p>\n
