<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>This was recorded yesterday. Today, we receive the sad news of Alfie\u2019s death. I can add nothing to the pope\u2019s words, except my prayers for him, his family, his caregivers, and all who have sought to help him. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">I am deeply moved by the death of little Alfie. Today I pray especially for his parents, as God the Father receives him in his tender embrace.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Pope Francis (@Pontifex) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Pontifex\/status\/990202721608306688?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">April 28, 2018<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Dr. Abernathy adds: \u201cAside from a miracle (total healing) a natural death in its own due time is what I pray for when someone is catastrophically ill. Not A death hastened by euthanasia, not a death prolonged by dysthanasia. The fact that he has passed of natural causes means he was being sustained unnaturally. He will not have to endure anything else. My heart breaks for the parents. My heart is relieved for Alfie.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>No one murdered Alfie Evans. He died of natural causes.
