A reader writes:<\/p>\n

A couple weeks ago I sent you a prayer request for little Sammy<\/a>, desperately sick with e-coli poisoning. Here is the latest update from his Mom, as of last Saturday. Pretty wonderful news! <\/p>\n

(You had told me the story of Bishop Sheen\u2019s miracle, which I heard in detail shortly after that on Sacred Heart radio. So I invoked his aid for Sammy. At any rate, praise God for His blessings and thank you to your gentle readers for the kindness of their prayers.)<\/p>\n

From Sammy\u2019s Mom:<\/p>\n

Today is easily the best day of my life. Our nephrology team walked into Sam\u2019s ICU room this morning to tell us that he truly is a miracle. Rather than the months of dialysis they had prepared us for, he is already on a Dialysis as needed schedule. The best news, they don\u2019t think he will need it any more. Unexplicably his kidneys have started making a rapid recovery despite the fact that we have been warned that kidneys recover very slowly. It was so fun to see doctors giddy and excited about his miraculous recovery. They moved us out of the ICU and onto the floor today.<\/p>\n

They ran a test today to ensure that he has no more ecoli in his system. When that comes back okay, he will be allowed to interact with other children in the hospital and play in the playrooms. We were allowed to put him in a stroller and take him around the hospital.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n
