When the Cult says \u201cGeorge Soros\u201d they mean \u201cInternational Jewish Banker\u201d. He is the Authoritarian Right\u2019s (and the Reactionary Catholic\u2019s) Jewish bogeyman for this generation, mysteriously funding stuff like this:<\/p>\n

(Funny thing:\u00a0 The Legend of the Soros-funded Protester is an Established Fact in the mind of the Trump Cult where accusation is always a confession of their own deepest desires and plans.\u00a0 There is no evidence for the Legend<\/a>.\u00a0 But there is evidence<\/a> that the GOP has done it.)<\/p>\n

In the Fever Swamp, Soros is a one man International Jewish Conspiracy who is both a Jew and a Nazi, a Zionist and an enemy of Israel, a Communist and a Capitalist, a Neo-Nazi and Antifa, simultaneously controlling the US government and fleeing in fear from the Righteous Might of Trump and the GOP Senate. I can\u2019t tell you how many times the whackadoodle conspiracy theorists have informed me that I and anybody else they hate (especially Jewish Catholics like (((Simcha Fisher))), (((Rebecca Bratten Weiss))), (((Dawn Eden Goldstein))) and (((Jenn Morson)))) are secretly on the \u201cSoros payroll\u201d as the explanation for one of us saying something the conspiracy theorist dislikes. Austin Ruse\u2019 ridiculous dogwhistling on this a while back is typical of the Jew-baiting methods of those who invoke this bogeyman.<\/a><\/p>\n

Here\u2019s the actual and rather dull reality about Soros:<\/p>\n

<\/iframe><\/p>\nI don\u2019t hold any particular brief for Soros. My impression is Leib\u2019s: pretty good for a billionaire. But he remains a billionaire, which is dangerous to the human soul. Beyond that, I don\u2019t care what he does with his money. It\u2019s a free country.<\/p>\nBut I do hold a brief for truthfulness, something the MAGA Cult chose to sacrifice a long time ago when people like John Zmirak committed self-described Real Christians[TM] to the proposition of the Noble Lie for the Greater Good and then went on to commit them to the Ignoble Lie for the Power and Glory of the Liar in Chief. The pedigree of anti-semitism and the figure of the Shadowy Jew Puppetmaster is a long and dark one in history of Christians and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vatican.va\/archive\/hist_councils\/ii_vatican_council\/documents\/vat-ii_decl_19651028_nostra-aetate_en.html\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">is to be called out as the evil it is when it rears its head<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote>We cannot truly call on God, the Father of all, if we refuse to treat in a brotherly way any man, created as he is in the image of God. Man\u2019s relation to God the Father and his relation to men his brothers are so linked together that Scripture says: \u201cHe who does not love does not know God\u201d (1 John 4:8).<\/p>\nNo foundation therefore remains for any theory or practice that leads to discrimination between man and man or people and people, so far as their human dignity and the rights flowing from it are concerned.<\/p>\nThe Church reproves, as foreign to the mind of Christ, any discrimination against men or harassment of them because of their race, color, condition of life, or religion. On the contrary, following in the footsteps of the holy Apostles Peter and Paul, this sacred synod ardently implores the Christian faithful to \u201cmaintain good fellowship among the nations\u201d (1 Peter 2:12), and, if possible, to live for their part in peace with all men,(14) so that they may truly be sons of the Father who is in heaven.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/theres-been-a-george-soros-for-every-era-of-antisemitic-panic\" class=\" decorated-link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">The adoption of Soros as the latest incarnation of the Evil Jewish International Banker Pulling the Strings of History is anti-semitic dogwhistling at its finest.<\/a><\/p>\nIt is founded on a torrent of transparently self-contradictory lies by a theopolitical cult who have been so wrong about so much so many times for so long that only a fool would trust their judgment.
