Please ask your readers to pray today for a boy born 26 weeks premature in April. His name is Wyatt, and has been struggling with his lung development. He has had infections of his internal organs, and has needed extra oxygen, which unfortunately has damaged more lung tissue and impeded his breathing.<\/p>\n
I\u2019ve been praying a novena for the intercession of Blessed Karl of Austria on Wyatt\u2019s behalf, but the little guy needs a miracle. His mother, Cathy, has asked for prayers while she has called in loved ones from across the country in the event God calls him home. Thank you in advance for all your prayers.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Father, hear our prayer for this child\u2019s complete healing in body, soul, and spirit through Christ our Lord. Grant his caregivers wisdom, skill and compassion and give his family grace, peace, consolation and strength. Mother Mary, pray for all concerned!<\/p>\n
A reader writes another update about Baby Sam who had contracted a serious e coli. infection:<\/p>\n
Sam\u2019s recovery continues to defy all the odds. One of our neurology team who has not seen him in a week walked into the room today, examined him, and said \u201cPraise God.\u201d That about sums it up. His dialysis line came out today. His kidneys are functioning at 100%. Feeding tube comes out in the morning and his pic line comes out Wednesday right before we bring him home. We just can\u2019t believe after being told we could expect at least one more month we are going to be going home.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
