Some friends of ours are having a family crisis. Their daughter Genevieve was born on August 20, 2011 at 27 weeks gestation. She weighed one pound. She has been in the hospital since then, and has been doing better, but she started to crash just a few hours ago.

Father, hear our prayer that this child would thrive and grow and bring glory to your Name by living a long life and dying a saint. Grant skill and compassion to her caregiver and grace, peace, and strength to those who love her. Mother Mary, pray for her and all who love her. We ask all through through Christ our Lord.
