Looks like a turf war about money.<\/a> Meh. I think Fr. Pavone is a good man who does good work and I hope they work things out and he\u2019s back in action soon.<\/p>\n

Still looks like a turf war to me, not a scandal. As is my custom, I assume the bishop knows what he\u2019s doing unless I have good reason to think otherwise. I am happy to see that Fr. Pavone is, above all, OBEYING HIS BISHOP unlike the BS Dawg. He is also taking things to Rome rather than ditching his vows, filing suit or otherwise acting like a crook. That\u2019s as it should be if he thinks he\u2019s in the right and it\u2019s why such avenues for redress exist in the Church. So I will continue to withhold judgment under the assumption that he and his bishop will work things out. Prayer seems to be the soundest course of action at this point.<\/p>\n
