Here he is, offering a reply to a typical New Atheist worshipper of the intellect who has no idea what Christians think of the sciences but is cocksure they are wrong for thinking it.<\/a><\/p>\n

As a bonus, he ties it in with science fiction writing and gently suggests that worshippers of the intellect should a) actually find out what Christians historically had to say about the use of reason rather than declare, by faith, what they must think, and b), consider the possibility of treating Christians as though they might be thinking human beings and not Stock Characters.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s a lot to ask the average arrogant Internet Atheist. But it can be done, as folks like Leah Libresco <\/a> (who actually uses her intellect) demonstrate.
