I just received word from some friends of mine that my friend Lauren passed from this life into eternity yesterday afternoon (Thursday) at about 3:30 after a long battle with cancer. I was told by someone who was there that she united her sufferings with those of Christ on the cross for the salvation and conversion of those around her. Please pray for the repose of her soul and comfort for her husband Don, for her children Annie and Nick, and for all who love her. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and may perpetual light shine upon her. Amen.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
May her soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. May God grant all who love her grace, strength and peace through our Lord Jesus Christ, crucified for us this day. Mother Mary, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death.
